After touring at seventeen as the opening act for the O’Jays. Jeff has shared the stage with some of the following artists: Earth Wind & Fire, Michael McDonald, Hall & Oats, Cameo, The Righteous Brothers. The Barclay’s, James Brown, The Daz Band, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Kool & the Gang, Phoebe Snow and Norman Brown. Most recently he’s opened for: Jeff Lorber, Mindi Abair, Ambrosia, Jeff Golub Pancho Sanchez and The Average White Band, George Duke, Gerald Albright and Rick Braun. 2013 Santa Clarita Valley Jazz Festival Jazzy Boy Jeff served as the Emcee for the 2013 Santa Clarita Jazz Festival. The Jazzy Boy Jeff Band performed a killer show for the 4th year in a row. Past Festivals have included award winning artists like Gerald Albright, Mindi Abair, Rick Braun, Diane Schuur, Jeff Lorber, Ambrosia and more. Jazzy Boy Jeff has performed for the Legacy Ladies “Torch Awards” at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the last 10 years and was named as their Music Director a couple of years ago. Band Leader Currently, Jeff leads his own band specializing in Jazz, Reggae and R&B genres where his talent, enthusiasm and most importantly his professionalism is in high demand. Once the Jazzy Boy Jeff band has completed a set they are immediately booked for the following year’s event. His band’s success is primarily due to word of mouth and repeat bookings. No one is disappointed and is always left wanting more. Jazzy Boy Jeff band has entertained at various venues and may accommodate any setting whether larger or small. They have played in backyard settings as well as appearing at functions on Catalina Island, Disneyland and around the World. Jazzy Boy Jeff is also obliging in the type of band required, from a 4 piece jazz-funk band to a 12 piece rhythm- blues and soul. Jazzy Boy Jeff’s musical versatility is unsurpassed. Camera/Audio Experience Jazzy Jeff Boy’s camera experiences are quite broad. Jeff has operated studio cameras since 1991. He has worked on a variety of Sony, Cannon and Panasonic studio cameras to include: Sony 2000, DXC-D35WS, D30 to include DV-CAM and mini DV; Cannon High-8 L-1 and L-2 and XL-2. Hand held with steady-cams. Jeff has extensive experience with studio and on-location lighting as well as audio. In 1999 Jeff ran the audio for CNN’s Larry King Live show out of Los Angeles for 16 months. Production Jeff Harris has extensive production experience. Jeff personally produced and directed 143 episodes of “Different Sides” a music/ talk format cable television program. He developed a viewing audience and program placement in 47 cities within California encompassing over 7.5 million households.
